What readers have to say…

Praise for The Year the World Paused: Stories of Inspiration and Transformation

“What a beautiful perspective and powerful tool for those who are feeling the stress, anxiety, and pressure that comes with change.”
Cathy G. (CAN)
“We are all human and wildly alike yet so completely different. I could see/feel myself weaving between each of these stories as I read them. These people made me feel “normal” during all the pivoting, loss, grief, confinement, and uncertainties Covid presented to us all.”
Tamena P. (CAN)
Pandemic of 2020, this amazing book shows that with the right mindset, it is possible to thrive and see opportunity at any age.
Brian S. (USA)
I managed to finish reading your book the other day and found it very interesting and definitely positive. After the 2 years the World experienced, it would be good to think that lots more people have kept records of their experiences which could be read by others. For people to be so open and honest helps others. Or makes you realise that you are not alone. I wish our local Council or similar, had requested people send in their stories which could have been collated for future generations to see.
Gineta P (Wales, UK)
Janet is one of the most giving people I know. She has been such a tremendous help to me and is someone who contributes wherever and whenever she can for the good of others. She is one of the treasures of my life and I am grateful for her presence in my life.
